Vali’s Pursuit of Mayavi and the Cave Episode
नत्वा पादावहं तस्य मकुटेनास्पृशं प्रभोअपि वाली मम क्रोधान्न प्रसादं चकार सः4.9.26।।
natvā pādāv ahaṃ tasya makuṭenāspṛśaṃ prabho | api vālī mama krodhān na prasādaṃ cakāra saḥ || 4.9.26 ||
Wahai Tuanku, aku menunduk sujud, menyentuh kaki baginda dengan mahkotaku; namun Vālī, kerana murka terhadapku, tetap tidak mengurniakan sebarang perkenan.
'On seeing my brother and me from a distance, the demon took to his heels -scared.
A key dharmic lesson is that anger (krodha) blinds judgment and blocks reconciliation; true righteousness requires the capacity to accept sincere submission and restore harmony when appropriate.
