हनूमद्बलप्रबोधनम् / Jāmbavān Rekindles Hanūmān’s Power
विख्याता त्रिषु लोकेषु रूपेणाप्रतिमा भुवि।अभिशापादभूत्तात वानरी कामरूपिणी।।।।
vikhyātā triṣu lokeṣu rūpeṇāpratimā bhuvi | abhiśāpād abhūt tāta vānarī kāmarūpiṇī ||
Wahai anakku, termasyhur di tiga alam dan tiada bandingan pada rupa di bumi; namun kerana suatu sumpahan, wahai dear, ia menjadi wanara betina yang mampu berubah rupa sesuka hati.
'O dear! she was famous in the three worlds, peerless in beauty and could change form at her free will. She was born of a monkey on this land by dint of a curse.
Actions and their consequences (karma) shape one’s worldly condition; dharma involves accepting consequences without losing the capacity for righteous action.
