तावदापपत स्तूर्णमन्तरिक्षं महाकपे।क्षिप्तमिन्द्रेण ते वज्रं कोपाविष्टेन धीमता।।।।
tāvad āpapata stūrṇam antarikṣaṃ mahākape | kṣiptam indreṇa te vajraṃ kopāviṣṭena dhīmatā ||
Wahai kera agung, ketika engkau jatuh deras menembusi angkasa, Indra yang bijaksana—dikuasai amarah—telah melontarkan vajra, petirnya, ke arahmu.
'O great monkey! while falling fast in space, wise Indra hurled his thunderbolt quickly at you, in anger.
