Sampāti’s Counsel and the Revelation of Laṅkā
ततोऽब्रवीन्महातेजा ज्येष्ठो भ्राता जटायुषः।आत्मानुरूपं वचनं वानरान्सम्प्रहर्षयन्।।4.58.11।।
tato 'bravīn mahā-tejā jyeṣṭho bhrātā jaṭāyuṣaḥ | ātmānurūpaṃ vacanaṃ vānārān sampraharṣayan ||
Kemudian, abang sulung Jaṭāyu yang bercahaya wibawa itu berkata dengan tutur yang sesuai dengan dirinya, menggembirakan para vānara.
Then Jatayu's elder brother, the glorious Sampati, said these pleasing, befitting words:
Right speech (appropriate, timely, and encouraging) is dharmic—words can restore resolve and guide righteous action.
