सप्तचत्वारिंशः सर्गः — वानरयूथपानां अन्वेषणवृत्तान्तनिवेदनम्

गहनेषु च देशेषु दुर्गेषु विषमेषु च।सत्त्वान्यतिप्रमाणानि विचितानि हतानि च।।4.47.13।।ये चैव गहना देशा विचितास्ते पुनः पुनः।
gahaneṣu ca deśeṣu durgeṣu viṣameṣu ca |
sattvāny atipramāṇāni vicitāni hatāni ca || 4.47.13 ||
ye caiva gahanā deśā vicitās te punaḥ punaḥ |
Di kawasan yang lebat, di kubu yang sukar didekati, dan di tanah yang tidak rata lagi berbahaya, mereka menyelidik; makhluk-makhluk liar yang amat besar ditemui—ditelusuri dan ada yang ditewaskan. Daerah-daerah yang sukar itu diperiksa berulang-ulang kali.
