पश्चिमदिशि अन्वेषणादेशः
Instructions for the Western Search Party
सिन्धुसागरयोश्चैव सङ्गमे तत्र पर्वतः।महान्हेमगिरिर्नाम शतशृङ्गो महाद्रुमः।।4.42.15।।
sindhusāgarayoś caiva saṅgame tatra parvataḥ |
mahān hemagirir nāma śataśṛṅgo mahādrumaḥ ||4.42.15||
Di pertemuan Sungai Sindhu dengan lautan, berdirilah sebuah gunung agung bernama Hemagiri, berpuncak seratus dan berhutan pepohon besar.
'On the slopes of that mountain you will find lions called Pakshagamas, that is lions with wings. They carry the whales, fishes and elephants from the sea to their shelters on the beautiful mountain slopes.
