Tārā’s Lament over Vāli
अश्मसारमयं नूनमिदं मे हृदयं दृढम्।।भर्तारं निहतं दृष्ट्वा यन्नाद्य शतधा कृतम्।
aśma-sāra-mayaṃ nūnam idaṃ me hṛdayaṃ dṛḍham | bhartāraṃ nihataṃ dṛṣṭvā yan nādya śatadhā kṛtam ||
Sesungguhnya hatiku ini keras, seakan-akan terbuat daripada batu; kerana hingga hari ini, melihat suamiku terbunuh, ia belum juga hancur menjadi seratus keping.
