Wahai Saumitri, pandanglah: di lereng gunung sebelah selatan di tepi Pampā, dahan pokok karnikāra itu sedang berbunga, amat indah dan berseri-seri.
'Look at the very spectacular karnikara tree with its blossmed branches on the mountain slope towards the southern side of Pampa, O Saumitri!
Dharma here appears as mindful attention and truthful witnessing (satya): even during hardship, one does not lose the capacity to see and name the world clearly, sustaining mental balance for righteous action.
Rama points out a striking flowering tree on the southern slope near Pampā as he and Lakṣmaṇa proceed in their search.
Composure and leadership: Rama guides Lakṣmaṇa’s attention, keeping their journey purposeful while acknowledging what they encounter.
