त्रिशङ्कुस्वर्गारोহণम्

अयमिक्ष्वाकुदायादस्त्रिशंकुरिति विश्रुत:।धर्मिष्ठश्च वदान्यश्च मां चैव शरणं गत:।।।।तेनानेन शरीरेण देवलोकजिगीषया।
ayam ikṣvākudāyādas triśaṅkur iti viśrutaḥ | dharmiṣṭhaś ca vadānyaś ca māṃ caiva śaraṇaṃ gataḥ || tenānena śarīreṇa devalokajigīṣayā ||
Triśaṅku ini, masyhur sebagai keturunan Ikṣvāku, lagi dharmis dan pemurah, telah datang berlindung kepadaku; dengan tubuh ini juga ia berhasrat menaklukkan jalan ke alam para dewa.
