Wahai Rāghava, aku juga mempunyai seorang kakak perempuan, teguh dalam ikrar suci, bernama Satyavatī; dia dinikahkan dengan Ṛcīka.
"O son, a highly virtuous son named Gadhi, similar to you will be born. Because of him you will obtain everlasting fame throughtout this world".
Dharma appears as disciplined living (suvrata) and socially sanctioned rites (marriage), upheld with truthfulness embodied in the name Satyavatī.
Viśvāmitra introduces his elder sister Satyavatī and her marriage to Ṛcīka, setting up the explanation for the river Kauśikī.
Suvrata—faithful observance of righteous vows and conduct—attributed to Satyavatī.
