गायत्रीं चैव वेदांश्च तुलया तोलयत्प्रभुः । एकतश्चतुरोवेदा गायत्रीं च तथैकतः
gāyatrīṃ caiva vedāṃśca tulayā tolayatprabhuḥ | ekataścaturovedā gāyatrīṃ ca tathaikataḥ
Tuhan menimbang Gāyatrī dan Veda-veda pada neraca: pada satu sisi ada keempat-empat Veda, dan pada sisi yang lain hanya Gāyatrī sahaja.
