विकुंडल उवाच । हे दूतवर पृच्छामि संशयं त्वामहं परम् । आवां जातौ कुले तुल्ये तुल्यं कर्म तथा कृतम्
vikuṃḍala uvāca | he dūtavara pṛcchāmi saṃśayaṃ tvāmahaṃ param | āvāṃ jātau kule tulye tulyaṃ karma tathā kṛtam
Vikuṇḍala berkata: “Wahai utusan yang mulia, aku bertanya kepadamu tentang satu keraguan yang besar. Kita berdua lahir dalam keturunan yang setara, dan kita juga melakukan amalan yang serupa.”
