पुण्यमाहुः कुरुक्षेत्रं कुरुक्षेत्रात्सरस्वतीम् । सरस्वत्याश्च तीर्थानि तीर्थेभ्यश्च पृथूदकम्

puṇyamāhuḥ kurukṣetraṃ kurukṣetrātsarasvatīm | sarasvatyāśca tīrthāni tīrthebhyaśca pṛthūdakam

Mereka menyatakan Kurukṣetra sangat besar pahalanya; lebih utama daripada Kurukṣetra ialah Sungai Sarasvatī; lebih utama daripada Sarasvatī ialah tīrtha-tīrtha (tempat suci) miliknya; dan lebih utama daripada semua tīrtha itu ialah Pṛthūdaka.
