कुरुक्षेत्रस्य तद्द्वारं विश्रुतं भरतर्षभ । प्रदक्षिणमुपावृत्य तीर्थसेवी समावृतः

kurukṣetrasya taddvāraṃ viśrutaṃ bharatarṣabha | pradakṣiṇamupāvṛtya tīrthasevī samāvṛtaḥ

Wahai yang utama dalam keturunan Bharata, pintu gerbang Kurukṣetra yang masyhur itu—setelah melakukan pradakṣiṇā secara suci mengikut arah kanan—peziarah yang tekun berkhidmat kepada tirtha pun meneruskan perjalanan.
