तत्र स्नात्वा नरो राजंस्तर्पयेत्पितृदेवताः । उपोष्य रजनीमेकां पिंडं दत्वा यथाविधि
tatra snātvā naro rājaṃstarpayetpitṛdevatāḥ | upoṣya rajanīmekāṃ piṃḍaṃ datvā yathāvidhi
Setelah mandi di sana, wahai Raja, seseorang hendaklah mempersembahkan tarpaṇa kepada para dewa leluhur. Kemudian, berpuasa satu malam, hendaklah dia mempersembahkan piṇḍa menurut tata cara yang ditetapkan.
