Concept: Vrata is not mere ritualism: the observer must act only with dharma-reflection; Sauravrata is praised as mahāpuṇya by Purāṇas.

Application: Before acting—especially in religious practice—pause for ethical reflection; align discipline with compassion, truthfulness, and non-harm so the vow refines character, not ego.

Primary Rasa: shanta

Secondary Rasa: vira

Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"A disciplined vratī sits in quiet contemplation before a small altar facing the rising sun, hands in añjali, eyes lowered in dharma-cintā. Around him, the implements of the vow—water pot, clean cloth, simple grains—are arranged with austere symmetry, while faint celestial scribes (Purāṇic authority) seem to ‘approve’ the act.","primary_figures":["vow-observer (vratī)","Āditya (symbolic solar disc)","subtle sages/scribes as allegory of Purāṇic praise"],"setting":"open terrace or ghat platform oriented east; minimal altar with lamp and offering bowl","lighting_mood":"divine radiance","color_palette":["sunrise gold","saffron","ivory","deep indigo","copper"],"tanjore_prompt":"Tanjore painting style: iconic east-facing vratī in meditation before Āditya’s radiant disc; heavy gold leaf for solar aura and altar ornaments, rich maroon backdrop, emerald border patterns, gem-studded vessels, inscriptions-like motifs suggesting Purāṇic endorsement.","pahari_prompt":"Pahari miniature style: contemplative terrace scene with soft dawn sky; delicate facial features, gentle posture, cool indigo shadows with warm gold horizon, minimalism conveying inner dharma-reflection.","kerala_mural_prompt":"Kerala mural style: frontal meditative figure with bold outlines; large expressive eyes softened, sun disc stylized, red-yellow dominance with green accents, temple-wall austerity emphasizing ethical resolve.","pichwai_prompt":"Pichwai cloth painting style: central solar disc framed by lotus garlands; the vratī seated below in symmetrical composition, ornate floral borders, deep blue field with gold highlights, devotional geometry expressing ‘mahāpuṇya’."}
