FAQs

It presents the Gaṅgā-tīra as a potent tīrtha where tapas (austerity) bears tangible fruit—aiśvarya (prosperity/sovereign fortune)—implying that place amplifies spiritual effort into worldly and spiritual attainments.

They function as symbols of divine abundance: Pārijāta (a celestial flowering tree) and Kalpadruma (wish-fulfilling tree) evoke a realm where blessings are plentiful, reinforcing the claim that austerity performed there yields exceptional results.

It links disciplined practice (tapas) with meaningful outcomes, teaching that sustained spiritual effort—especially in sacred contexts—can lead to both inner merit and well-being (aiśvarya), rather than mere passive hope for fortune.
