Acyuta (Viṣṇu)

FAQs

It promises steadfast orientation toward Acyuta (Viṣṇu), happiness free from affliction, and an exalted, jewel-adorned heavenly dwelling—typical of Purāṇic phala-śruti passages.

The primary attainment is framed as “acyutatā”—a state of unwavering adherence to Acyuta—placing devotion to Viṣṇu above material rewards, even though auspicious enjoyments are also described.

In Purāṇic style it can be read literally as a heavenly reward and symbolically as the splendor and stability of a purified state attained through devotion; the verse itself presents it as a concrete phala.
