Mādhava (Viṣṇu)

FAQs

The verse recommends vṛkṣa-ropaṇa—planting a tree dedicated to Mādhava (Viṣṇu)—as a deliberate act of dharma and merit.

It implies that for a person whose well-being/protection is “akṣaya” (imperishable), external forces cannot successfully create obstacles.

Instead of attempting to obstruct the fortunate or protected, one should engage in constructive, merit-generating actions—here exemplified by planting sacred trees.
