Concept: The life-sustaining element (vāyu) and its many functions serve the sacrificial order; coordinated forces enable dharmic action to bear fruit.

Application: Value ‘invisible supports’—breath, health, teamwork; cultivate steadiness and cleanliness so your ‘inner vāyu’ supports worship and duty.

Primary Rasa: adbhuta

Secondary Rasa: vira

FAQs

The verse explicitly calls Vāyu (the wind-god) a Prajāpati, i.e., a progenitor/lord connected with creation and ordering of beings.

It presents Vāyu as an important divine participant in sacrificial cosmology, where deities assemble to sustain cosmic order through yajña.

It underscores ordered cooperation and disciplined accompaniment—power is portrayed as functioning within a structured collective rather than in isolation.
