शिरसा तु ततो वंद्य मातरं पूर्णमानसः । उवाच साध्वीं पूर्णेन्दु द्युतिं तुहिनशैलजां

śirasā tu tato vaṃdya mātaraṃ pūrṇamānasaḥ | uvāca sādhvīṃ pūrṇendu dyutiṃ tuhinaśailajāṃ

Kemudian dia menundukkan kepala dengan penuh hormat, dengan minda yang tenang sempurna, lalu menyapa Ibu yang suci—Pārvatī, puteri Himālaya—yang bersinar laksana cahaya bulan purnama.
