Means to Slay Tāraka: Girijā’s Birth, Kāma’s Burning, and Umā’s Austerities

व्यक्तं मेरुर्यज्जरायुस्तवाभूदेवं विद्मस्त्वत्प्रणीतोवकाशः । व्यक्तं देवा जज्ञिरे यस्य देहाद्देहस्यांतश्चारिणो देहभाजः

vyaktaṃ meruryajjarāyustavābhūdevaṃ vidmastvatpraṇītovakāśaḥ | vyaktaṃ devā jajñire yasya dehāddehasyāṃtaścāriṇo dehabhājaḥ

Nyata bahawa Meru menjadi uri (plasenta) bagi-Mu; maka kami mengetahui bahawa ruang-angkasa itu sendiri Engkaulah yang melahirkannya. Nyata juga bahawa para dewa lahir daripada tubuh-Mu—makhluk berjisim yang bergerak di dalam tubuh kosmos.
