शीतांशु निहतास्ते तु दैत्यास्सर्वे निपातिताः । हिमप्लावित सर्वांगानिरूष्माण इवाग्नयः

śītāṃśu nihatāste tu daityāssarve nipātitāḥ | himaplāvita sarvāṃgānirūṣmāṇa ivāgnayaḥ

Dipukul oleh Śītāṃśu (Bulan), semua Daitya itu pun rebah—seluruh tubuh mereka dilimpahi banjir dingin berais, bagaikan api yang telah padam dan hilang bahangnya.
