चतुर्दिशासु संख्याताश्चत्वारः सलिलाकराः । एवं नारायणस्यार्थे मही पुष्कर संभवा

caturdiśāsu saṃkhyātāścatvāraḥ salilākarāḥ | evaṃ nārāyaṇasyārthe mahī puṣkara saṃbhavā

Demikianlah, pada empat penjuru dihitung empat lautan sebagai himpunan air; dengan cara ini bumi—yang lahir daripada Puṣkara—terjadi demi tujuan Nārāyaṇa.
