ततस्तु देवराजेन पालितं भुवनत्रयम् । एवं लक्ष्मीर्महाभागा उत्पन्ना क्षीरसागरात्

tatastu devarājena pālitaṃ bhuvanatrayam | evaṃ lakṣmīrmahābhāgā utpannā kṣīrasāgarāt

Sesudah itu, raja para dewa memelihara tiga alam. Demikianlah Dewi Lakṣmī yang amat berbahagia lahir dari Kṣīra-sāgara, Lautan Susu.
