स तच्छ्रुत्वा वचो भीष्म ज्ञानिना यदुदाहृतम् । अथोपनयनं चक्रे बालकस्य पिता तदा

sa tacchrutvā vaco bhīṣma jñāninā yadudāhṛtam | athopanayanaṃ cakre bālakasya pitā tadā

Wahai Bhīṣma, setelah mendengar kata-kata yang menggentarkan daripada orang bijaksana itu, bapa budak tersebut pun melaksanakan upanayana (upacara benang suci) untuk anaknya ketika itu.
