Sandhi Resolution Notes: यत्प्राप्तोसीह = यत् + प्राप्तः + असि + इह (प्राप्तोऽसि → प्राप्तोसि; विसर्ग/अवग्रह-लोप)
It frames pilgrimage as a spiritually meritorious context (prasanga) that leads one into auspicious encounters and sacred presence—here, the very act of arriving is praised as sukṛta (a meritorious deed).
The sage Mārkaṇḍeya addresses Rāghava, praising him (“sādhu”) and offering blessings (“bhadraṃ te”), indicating approval and auspicious welcome.
The verse implies that intentional movement toward sacred aims—such as pilgrimage and seeking holy association—constitutes virtue in action, not merely in ritual performance.
