एनःकृतोपिविषयेष्वपिसक्तचित्ताज्ञानान्वयश्रुतगुणैरपिनैवयुक्ताः । यं संश्रिताः सुखभुजः पुरुषा भवंति तं शंकरं शरणदं शरणं व्रजामि

enaḥkṛtopiviṣayeṣvapisaktacittājñānānvayaśrutaguṇairapinaivayuktāḥ | yaṃ saṃśritāḥ sukhabhujaḥ puruṣā bhavaṃti taṃ śaṃkaraṃ śaraṇadaṃ śaraṇaṃ vrajāmi

Bahkan mereka yang telah melakukan dosa—yang hatinya masih terpaut pada objek-objek indera dan tidak dihiasi pengetahuan, keturunan mulia, pendengaran śāstra, atau kebajikan—apabila berlindung kepada-Nya, menjadi penikmat kebahagiaan.
