The Account and Merit of Śivadūtī

with the Nāga-tīrtha at Puṣkara

कन्या सैन्येन महता बहुरूपेण भास्वता । देवैस्तुविस्मितैर्दृष्टा चर्ममुंडधरा रुरोः

kanyā sainyena mahatā bahurūpeṇa bhāsvatā | devaistuvismitairdṛṣṭā carmamuṃḍadharā ruroḥ

Gadis suci itu dilihat oleh para dewa yang terpegun, diiringi bala tentera yang besar—bercahaya dan beraneka rupa. Ia menyarung kulit Ruru, berkepala dicukur, lalu melaungkan pekik yang nyaring.
