The Account and Merit of Śivadūtī

with the Nāga-tīrtha at Puṣkara

शप्त्वा कुलसहस्रं तु यावदेकं कुलं स्थितम् । एवमुक्ते तु वेपंतो ब्रह्मणा भुजगोत्तमाः

śaptvā kulasahasraṃ tu yāvadekaṃ kulaṃ sthitam | evamukte tu vepaṃto brahmaṇā bhujagottamāḥ

Setelah mengutuk seribu keturunan hingga tinggal satu keturunan sahaja, tatkala Brahmā berfirman demikian, para ular yang utama pun mula menggigil.
