The Aśūnyaśayanā Vow (Unempty Bed) and the Aṅgāraka Caturthī Observance

शय्यां च शक्तिमान्दद्यात्सर्वोपस्करसंयुताम् । यद्यदिष्टतमं लोके यच्चास्य दयितं गृहे

śayyāṃ ca śaktimāndadyātsarvopaskarasaṃyutām | yadyadiṣṭatamaṃ loke yaccāsya dayitaṃ gṛhe

Sesiapa yang berkemampuan hendaklah bersedekah sebuah katil yang lengkap dengan segala kelengkapannya; serta mengurniakan apa yang paling diingini di dunia dan apa yang paling dikasihinya di rumah.
