Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"A questioning sage leans forward, palms joined, as the storyteller prepares to unveil the full account: the taking of the world-beauty and the resumption of the sacrifice. Behind them, the yajña pavilion stands ready—fire steady, ladles poised—suggesting that narrative itself is an offering poured into the listener’s mind.","primary_figures":["Questioner (sage/interlocutor)","Narrator-sage (e.g., Pulastya figure)","Brahmā (anticipated subject)","The world-beauty (anticipated subject)"],"setting":"Forest āśrama with a view of a distant yajña-mandapa; manuscripts, kuśa seats, and a small homa fire in the foreground.","lighting_mood":"forest dappled","color_palette":["sandalwood beige","leaf green","smoke gray","saffron","deep maroon"],"tanjore_prompt":"Tanjore painting style: two sages in dialogue on ornate seats, one gesturing for the full account; in the background a miniature yajña pavilion with glowing fire; gold leaf highlights on halos, ritual vessels, and manuscript edges; rich maroons and greens with temple-arch framing.","pahari_prompt":"Pahari miniature style: intimate storytelling scene in a Himalayan-like āśrama clearing; delicate trees, soft shadows, refined faces; a distant yajña pavilion painted small but detailed; gentle palette and fine textile patterns.","kerala_mural_prompt":"Kerala mural style: frontal sages with expressive eyes, stylized foliage, a simplified yajña-kunda motif; bold outlines and warm earthy pigments; decorative border bands.","pichwai_prompt":"Pichwai cloth painting style: narrative panel with sages at center, floral borders and lotus motifs; a stylized yajña fire and ritual implements as icons; deep blue and gold accents, intricate vine patterns framing the request for ‘full telling’."}

FAQs

The speaker asks for a complete narration of two events: how a god accepted a famed woman (lokasundarī) and how the associated sacrifice (yajña) proceeded.

Not explicitly. It functions as a narrative prompt within the Sṛṣṭikhaṇḍa, requesting details of an episode involving a deity, a woman described as lokasundarī, and a yajña.

The verse emphasizes careful transmission of tradition: the listener requests a precise, complete account (“sarvaṃ prakīrtaya”), highlighting the importance of accurate narration in Purāṇic discourse.
