पुलस्त्य उवाच । ततः संवत्सरस्यांते द्वादशादित्यसन्निभः । दिव्यपीताम्बरधरो दिव्याभरणभूषितः

pulastya uvāca | tataḥ saṃvatsarasyāṃte dvādaśādityasannibhaḥ | divyapītāmbaradharo divyābharaṇabhūṣitaḥ

Pulastya berkata: Kemudian, pada penghujung tahun, muncullah seorang—bersinar laksana dua belas matahari—memakai busana kuning ilahi dan dihiasi perhiasan kayangan.
