Ekādaśī, the Day Sacred to Hari

तत्पापं याति विलयं चैकादश्यामुपोषणात् । घृतपूर्णं प्रदीपं यो दद्याद्विष्णुदिने द्विज

tatpāpaṃ yāti vilayaṃ caikādaśyāmupoṣaṇāt | ghṛtapūrṇaṃ pradīpaṃ yo dadyādviṣṇudine dvija

Dosa itu lenyap dengan berpuasa pada hari Ekādaśī. Wahai dwija, sesiapa yang mempersembahkan pelita berisi minyak sapi suci (ghee) pada hari suci Viṣṇu (Ekādaśī), memperoleh pahala yang agung.
