परामृश्य च हृद्यंतः कृत्वा तस्य क्रियां वदेत् । पादधौतादिकं चासौ शिरसा गतपातकः
parāmṛśya ca hṛdyaṃtaḥ kṛtvā tasya kriyāṃ vadet | pādadhautādikaṃ cāsau śirasā gatapātakaḥ
Setelah merenungkan dan menyimpannya dalam hati, seseorang harus menetapkan ritual yang tepat untuknya. Dia juga harus melakukan tindakan seperti membasuh kaki; dengan menundukkan kepalanya, dosa-dosanya dihapuskan.
