किंचित्काले गते विप्र तस्य राज्ञोऽभवत्सुतः । सुंदरो राजयोग्यश्च इंदुःक्षीरनिधाविव । पुत्रोत्सवे सोऽपि विप्र राजा दत्वा धनानि वै

kiṃcitkāle gate vipra tasya rājño'bhavatsutaḥ | suṃdaro rājayogyaśca iṃduḥkṣīranidhāviva | putrotsave so'pi vipra rājā datvā dhanāni vai

Setelah beberapa waktu berlalu, wahai brāhmana, raja itu memperoleh seorang putera—tampan dan layak memerintah, bagaikan bulan di atas lautan susu. Pada perayaan kelahiran putera itu, raja tersebut juga, wahai brāhmana, mengurniakan harta sebagai sedekah suci.
