तृप्यतामिति सुव्यक्तं नामगोत्रेण वाग्यतः । कायस्थैर्यस्तिलैर्मोहात्करोति पितृतर्पणम् ॥ ६४ ॥
tṛpyatāmiti suvyaktaṃ nāmagotreṇa vāgyataḥ | kāyasthairyastilairmohātkaroti pitṛtarpaṇam || 64 ||
Sambil mengucapkan dengan jelas, “Semoga mereka berpuas hati,” serta menyebut nama dan gotra dengan tutur kata yang terkawal, dan dengan tubuh yang teguh, ia melaksanakan Pitṛ-tarpaṇa dengan biji bijan—walaupun ramai melakukannya hanya kerana kealpaan, tanpa memahami makna yang sebenar.
