Glory of Puruṣottama: Pañcatīrthī Observance and Narasiṃha Worship
गच्छतः शकटस्याथ तमो मोहश्च नश्यति । राजमार्गस्तु विस्तीर्णो दृश्यते तत्र मोहिनि ॥ १०२ ॥
gacchataḥ śakaṭasyātha tamo mohaśca naśyati | rājamārgastu vistīrṇo dṛśyate tatra mohini || 102 ||
Tatkala kereta bergerak maju, kegelapan dan khayalan lenyap; wahai yang terpesona oleh delusi, di sana tampak jelas jalan raya diraja yang luas terbentang.

It teaches that progress in dharma—actually moving forward with disciplined practice—destroys tamas (inner darkness) and moha (confusion), making the true path (rājamārga) self-evident.
Bhakti matures through steady practice (japa, vrata, tīrtha-sevā, and remembrance). Like a cart that must roll to leave darkness behind, devotion must be lived consistently for the ‘royal road’ of surrender and clarity to appear.
The verse emphasizes applied discipline rather than a specific Vedanga: practical sadācāra and niyama (rule-based conduct) are presented as the method by which confusion is removed and correct direction becomes clear.
