The Greatness of Puruṣottama Kṣetra
दक्षिणस्योदधेस्तीरे न्यग्रोधो यत्र तिष्ठति । यस्तु कल्पे समुत्पन्ने महदुल्कानिबर्हणे ॥ ६६ ॥
dakṣiṇasyodadhestīre nyagrodho yatra tiṣṭhati | yastu kalpe samutpanne mahadulkānibarhaṇe || 66 ||
Di pesisir lautan selatan berdiri sebatang nyagrodha (pokok beringin). Itulah pokok yang muncul pada suatu kalpa terdahulu, ketika sebuah ulkā besar—bola api dari langit—telah dipadamkan dan dihancurkan.
