Dharmāṅgada’s Discourse (Dharmāṅgadopadeśa) in the Mohinī Episode
दुर्लभा वसुधा चीर्णं व्रतं पातकनाशनम् । धेनुस्तिलमयी सुभ्रु दुर्लभा विप्रगामिनी ॥ ४४ ॥
durlabhā vasudhā cīrṇaṃ vrataṃ pātakanāśanam | dhenustilamayī subhru durlabhā vipragāminī || 44 ||
Wahai yang bermata-bening dan berkening indah, Vasudhā—bumi beserta kurnianya—sukar diperoleh; dan vrata yang diamalkan menurut tata-śāstra menjadi pemusnah dosa. Lembu yang dibentuk daripada biji wijen (tilamaya-dhenu) amat jarang, lebih-lebih lagi untuk dihadiahkan kepada seorang brāhmaṇa.
