The Description of Kāśī (Kāśī-māhātmya): Avimukta, Kapālamocana, and Śiva’s Purification
यदुकु लतिलकाब्धिवास शौरे कुधरोद्धारविधानदक्ष धन्विन् । कलिकलुषहरांघ्रिपद्मयुग्म गृणदात्मप्रद कूर्म कश्यपोत्थ ॥ ४१ ॥
yaduku latilakābdhivāsa śaure kudharoddhāravidhānadakṣa dhanvin | kalikaluṣaharāṃghripadmayugma gṛṇadātmaprada kūrma kaśyapottha || 41 ||
Wahai Śauri—permata mahkota keturunan Yadu, yang bersemayam laksana lautan; wahai Tuhan pemegang busur, mahir dalam tindakan ilahi mengangkat bumi. Wahai Kūrma, yang lahir daripada Kaśyapa: sepasang teratai kaki-Mu menghapus kekotoran Kali; kepada yang memuji-Mu, Engkau menganugerahkan Diri Tertinggi (pengetahuan pembebasan).

The verse teaches that remembrance and praise of Vishnu—especially his lotus feet—purifies Kali-yuga defilements and leads the devotee to ātma-prāpti (liberating realization).
It centers bhakti on stuti (praise) and nāma–guṇa-kīrtana: the act of sincerely glorifying the Lord is presented as a direct purifier and a giver of moksha.
While not a technical Vedanga instruction, it reflects the Purāṇic application of mantra-style stuti (linked with Śikṣā/phonetics and Chandas/metre in practice) as a disciplined devotional recitation for spiritual purification.
