The Account of Kāṣṭhīlā (Kāṣṭhīlā-ākhyāna) within the Mohinī Narrative

पितृदेवार्चनं कर्तुः काष्ठग्रावस्थितस्य यत् । गोहीनां महिषीं धर्तुर्भिन्नकांस्ये च भुंजतः ॥ १३१ ॥

pitṛdevārcanaṃ kartuḥ kāṣṭhagrāvasthitasya yat | gohīnāṃ mahiṣīṃ dharturbhinnakāṃsye ca bhuṃjataḥ || 131 ||

Pemujaan kepada Pitṛ dan para Deva yang dilakukan oleh orang yang berdiri di atas kayu atau batu ketika bersembahyang, oleh orang yang memelihara kerbau di tempat tanpa lembu, dan oleh orang yang makan dari bejana gangsa yang retak—semuanya dinyatakan tidak wajar atau tidak berbuah.
