तेषां सा कथयामास भूरिभारावपीडिता ।

दनुजातमजदैत्योत्थं खेदकारणमात्मनः ॥

Transliteration

teṣāṃ sā kathayāmāsa bhūribhārāvapīḍitā |

danujātmaja-daityotthaṃ kheda-kāraṇam ātmanaḥ ||

Translation

Ditekan oleh beban yang berat, lalu Bumi menyatakan kepada mereka sebab kesusahannya—suatu penderitaan yang timbul daripada para asura, keturunan Danu.
