Adhyaya 49Primordial Human Creation, the Rise of Desire, and the Origins of Settlements, Measures, and Agriculture

तासां विना तु संकल्पं जायन्ते मिथुनाः प्रजाः ।

समं जन्म च रूपं च म्रियन्ते चैव ताः समम् ॥

tāsāṃ vinā tu saṃkalpaṃ jāyante mithunāḥ prajāḥ /

samaṃ janma ca rūpaṃ ca mriyante caiva tāḥ samam

Bagi mereka, tanpa sebarang niat (saṃkalpa), zuriat lahir berpasang-pasangan. Kelahiran dan penampakan mereka serupa, dan kematian mereka juga serupa.
