Adhyaya 43 — Portents of Death (Ariṣṭa-lakṣaṇas) and the Yogin’s Response; Alarka Renounces Kingship
दिष्ट्या ज्ञानं ममोत्पन्नं भवतश्च समागमात् ।
भवता चैव कारुण्यं दिष्ट्या ब्रह्मन् ! कृतं मम ॥
diṣṭyā jñānaṃ mamotpannaṃ bhavataś ca samāgamāt /
bhavatā caiva kāruṇyaṃ diṣṭyā brahman! kṛtaṃ mama
Dengan keberuntungan yang baik, pengetahuan telah bangkit dalam diri hamba melalui pertemuan dengan tuan; dan dengan keberuntungan yang baik, wahai Brahmana, tuan telah menaruh belas kasihan kepada hamba.
