Adhyaya 42 — Dattatreya on the Yogic Import of Oṃ (Praṇava): Matras, Worlds, and Liberation

Right engagement (yukti) in practice leads to laya—inner dissolution of distraction. The mapping of letters to worlds also teaches that spiritual ascent is an ordered, intelligible discipline.
Touches cosmological language (loka-traya) but used here as contemplative symbolism rather than as formal sarga description.
The practitioner internalizes the cosmos: ‘A’ and ‘U’ become stages of consciousness corresponding to planes of experience, preparing for the culminating transcendent element beyond the triad.
