Adhyaya 35Madālasa’s Instruction on Purity, Impurity, and Corrective Rites (Śauca and Aśauca)

तत्कर्तव्यमशङ्केन यन्न गोप्यं महाजने ।

एवमाचरतो वत्स ! पुरुषस्य गृहे सतः ।

धर्मार्थकामसम्प्राप्त्या परत्रेह च शोभनम् ॥

tat kartavyam aśaṅkena yan na gopyaṃ mahājane /

evam ācarato vatsa ! puruṣasya gṛhe sataḥ /

dharmārthakāmasaṃprāptyā paratreha ca śobhanam

Apa yang tidak perlu disembunyikan daripada khalayak hendaklah dilakukan tanpa ragu. Bagi seorang lelaki yang hidup sebagai penghuni rumah tangga dan berbuat demikian, pencapaian dharma, artha dan kāma membawa keberuntungan serta kehormatan di dunia ini dan di alam kemudian, wahai anakku.
