Gāṇḍīva-Nirghoṣa Episode
ततः पार्थो महातेजा विशिखानग्नितेजस: । चिक्षेप समरे क्रुद्धस्त्रयोदश शिलाशितान्,तदनन्तर महातेजस्वी कुन्तीपुत्रने उस संग्रामभूमिमें कुपित हो (कृपाचार्यपर) पत्थरपर रगड़कर तेज किये हुए अग्निके समान तेजस्वी तेरह बाण चलाये
tataḥ pārtho mahātejā viśikhān agnitejasaḥ | cikṣepa samare kruddhas trayodaśa śilāśitān ||
Kemudian Pārtha (Arjuna) yang bersinar dengan keperkasaan besar, dalam amarah di medan perang, melepaskan tiga belas anak panah yang mata hujungnya diasah pada batu, berkilau seperti api.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even amid anger, a kṣatriya’s action is expected to remain skillful, deliberate, and aligned with the discipline of righteous combat; power is shown through controlled mastery rather than chaos.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that Arjuna, enraged in the midst of battle, releases thirteen fire-bright arrows whose tips have been sharpened on stone, signaling an escalation in the fight through superior archery.
