प्राप्तकाले तु प्राप्तव्यं नोत्सजेयुर्नरर्ष भा: । अपि वज्भूता गुप्तं तथावीर्या हि पाण्डवा:,नरश्रेष्ठ पाण्डव समय आनेपर अपने पाने योग्य भाग या हकको भी नहीं छोड़ सकते, भले ही वज्रधारी इन्द्र उस वस्तुकी रक्षा करते हों। पाण्डवोंका ऐसा ही पराक्रम है

Transliteration

prāptakāle tu prāptavyaṃ notsajeyur nararṣabhāḥ | api vajrabhūtā guptaṃ tathā vīryā hi pāṇḍavāḥ ||

Translation

Namun apabila tiba saat yang sepatutnya, insan terbaik tidak akan melepaskan apa yang sememangnya berhak diperoleh. Walaupun ia dijaga seolah-olah oleh vajra—petir Indra sendiri—mereka tetap akan menuntutnya; demikianlah keberanian dan keteguhan tekad para Pāṇḍava.
