तस्य शड्खस्य शब्देन रथनेमिस्वनेन च । गाण्डीवस्य च घोषेण पृथिवी समकम्पत,उस शंखके शब्दसे, रथनेमियोंकी घर्घराहटसे तथा गाण्डीव धनुषकी टंकारसे धरती काँप उठी
tasya śaṅkhasya śabdena rathanemisvanena ca | gāṇḍīvasya ca ghoṣeṇa pṛthivī samakampata ||
Vaiśampāyana berkata: Dengan letusan bunyi sangkanya, deruman roda kereta perang, dan dentingan bergema busur Gāṇḍīva, bumi sendiri seakan-akan bergetar—sebuah pengisytiharan bernada firasat tentang tekad tempur yang tidak tertahan serta kekuatan dharma seorang wira yang benar memasuki gelanggang tindakan.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights how the outward signs of disciplined power—conch, chariot, and bow—can signify inner resolve aligned with dharma; righteous strength, when manifested, inspires awe and signals the turning of events.
The narrator describes a moment of martial revelation: the hero’s conch-blast, the thunder of the chariot-wheels, and the Gāṇḍīva’s resonant twang are so intense that the earth itself seems to shake, announcing his formidable presence.
